Orthopaedic Surgery is a 31-bed unit
that encompasses a 14-bed Total Joint Restoration Program as
well as a 17-bed Acute Orthopaedic Trauma specialty area.
The Total Joint Restoration Program is housed on M11Central
specializing in hip, knee, shoulder and elbow replacements.
On M11 East we provide expert state-of-the-art care for
patients who have injuries suffered through a variety of
circumstances such as MVAs (Motor Vehicle Accidents), falls,
sports activities, acute/chronic musculoskeletal infections,
and arthritis. We have a collaborative team for patient
management that includes physicians, nurse practitioners,
nurse manager, nurse clinician, clinical coordinators; total
joint coordinators, staff nurses, care partners, physical
and occupational therapy, a care coordinator, and social
worker.
