The Central Virginia Center for Coagulation Disorders (CVCCD) offers routine and sophisticated diagnostic and state-of-the-art laboratory services to children and adults with coagulation disorders through the VCU Health System’s Clinical Coagulation Laboratory and the VCU Coagulation Special Studies Laboratory.

The clinical laboratory offers a wide variety of testing to aid in the diagnosing, managing and monitoring of patients with bleeding disorders.

The special coagulation studies laboratory is involved in research and development of diagnostic tests and their clinical application in providing innovative and cost effective assays that enhance and expedite the diagnostic process.
