National Foundation for the Treatment of Pain
This is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing support for patients who are suffering from intractable pain, their families, friends and the physicians who treat them. In the "Pain Management Forum" section, a patient chat room is available. The site is sponsored by Purdue Pharma, PainRxperts, Bristol-Myers Sqibb, and the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation.
Pain.com: A World of Information on Pain
This site is sponsored by Dannemiller Memorial Education Foundation. There is a section for professionals and a section for consumers. The consumer section has information about Ask The Doctor, Pain Support, Pain Clinics, Expert Interviews and an E-letter.

Central Virginia Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia Association, Inc.
Based in Charlottesville, this support group holds regular meetings for people living with
CFS or fibromyalgia.
