Radiation Oncology

The VCU Department of Radiation Oncology provides patient services at four centers in Richmond. In these centers, patients are treated with the most advanced equipment including linear accelerators, CT simulators and brachytherapy units.

The forms of radiotherapy cover all capabilities, from standard external beam and stereotactic radiotherapy to intensity-modulated radiation therapy, high- and low-dose-rate afterloading brachytherapy, and endovascular radiotherapy.
