Paid Time OffTime away from work is a vital part to ensuring our employees are rested and prepared to handle the day-to-day challenges before them. We offer one plan we call Paid Time Off (PTO) that combines vacation, holidays, and sick time and allows our employees to use their time in a way that fits their family and work needs best. Imagine having 27 days your first year on the job to use for whatever purpose you wish: vacation, sick time or holidays. Imagine being able to save this time, transfer it to a colleague, or trade it in for cash should times get tough. Now imagine getting up to 36 days as your career progresses, with days increasing at five-year increments of service. This is a reality for employees at VCUHS.
