We hope that our employees never have to use life or disability insurance, but our offerings provide a sense of comfort and security.

Life Insurance

Basic Life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage of 2x base salary at no cost.
Supplemental Life: additional coverage for self, spouse, children (optional).

Disability

Short-Term: (optional) provides 60% of base salary after 14 days of disability.
Long-Term: provides 50% of base salary after 90 days of disability provided by VCUHS at no cost to employee.
Buy-up Long-Term: (optional) increase benefit to 66 2/3% of base salary after 90 days of disability.
