UPDATE 11/26/2013 at 7:25 a.m.: Hunton Hall has reopened and is operating on a normal schedule.

---

As of 10 p.m., crews have contained the break, and all VCU Medical Center clinics will operate on normal schedules on Tuesday, Nov. 26. Work crews have restored power to all buildings that were affected except Sanger Hall.

Sanger Hall will remain closed until further notice. VCU officials anticipate that Hunton Hall will reopen some time on Tuesday. Water damage has affected network and data services in a variety of buildings on the MCV Campus, and people should expect disruptions and delays in those services.

Students with classes scheduled in Sanger Hall and elsewhere on the MCV Campus on Tuesday and Wednesday are urged to check with their dean's offices for updates on class status. Those who need access to Sanger Hall to gather items will be escorted into the building and should go to the security desk on the first floor of Sanger.

All further updates on this situation will be posted at the VCU alert website.
