The VCUHS Telemedicine Center is located in the Gateway Building. Clinical activities include specialty consultations, disease and medication management, preoperative assessments and postoperative visits. In addition, the center supports various VCU's academic programs, professional conferences and clinical outreach projects.
The center's connectivity capabilities include a direct link to the Department of Corrections' secure network, VPN (Lan2Lan), public IP and ISDN.
