Junior Volunteers Opportunities at VCUHS
The Junior Volunteer Program provides students an opportunity to volunteer in a large, urban medical center where they are able to see the benefits of donating their time and services to their community. They are also given opportunities to develop and appreciate their own abilities, and to learn about career opportunities in the health care field. Volunteers must be 14 by July 1, 2009.

Summer 2009 Junior Volunteer Sessions:
July 6-23 or August 3-20.
The Summer 2009 program is full. No more applications are being accepted. Please check back in January for the 2010 program.

Hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon. (Those who do not drive should arrange transportation to and from the hospital each day.)
We must receive all applications and recommendation forms by March 16.
This is a popular program, and space is limited! Our volunteers work hard and have fun while providing valuable services, learning about our health system, and meeting new friends. We would love to consider you for our 2009 program, and advise you to return the application at your earliest convenience.
