College /Grad Student Volunteer Opportunities at VCUHS

At the beginning of each semester (Fall, Spring, and Summer) we welcome students from surrounding colleges and universities.  College /Grad Students can become involved in many ways at the hospital.  To ensure you are able to volunteer in the area of your choice, it is helpful to begin working on the requirements before the semester begins.

Requirements:

  1. All interested students must return COMPLETED application and health forms to Volunteer Services by posted deadline.  There are no exceptions.
  2. All volunteers must attend one of the orientation sessions listed on the application.
  3. Once completed application and health forms are turned into Volunteer Services, it is the student’s responsibility to sign up for a unit and time to volunteer. (Please see Volunteer Services for sign up book).

Application and Health Forms for the 2010 Spring Semester are now available!
Both the application and health form are required to volunteer.  Please read instructions carefully and pay close attention to dates and deadlines.
