Physical and Occupational Therapy

Rehabilitation services provided by occupational therapists (OT) and physical therapists (PT) are available to VCUHS inpatients and outpatients of all ages and diagnoses upon physician written referral. Specialized services are available to help individuals overcome functional mobility, strength, pain and cognitive impairments. Physical and occupational therapists are valuable members of the interdisciplinary team caring for inpatients and services are provided on all service areas of VCUHS.

Outpatient physical and occupational therapy services are available at several sites around the MCV Campus and Richmond area. The outpatient programs and specialty centers are identified below.
