Detecting diabetes early and managing it well is of primary importance to the faculty and staff VCU Health System. Here at VCU Health System we have put together a multi-disciplinary team to help manage and understand diabetes. During the Diabetes clinic, there is a Nutritionist, a Pharmacist as well as Nurse Educators, Nurse Practioners and Physicians all together in one place, all focused on the treatment of diabetes. At all other times, these specialists are available for consult if a question or concern should arise.
