Intake staff will obtain a brief description of the problem and then set up an initial appointment with an EAP counselor. The EAP counselor will then work with the employee or household member to clarify the nature of the problem, explore options for resolution, help the client decide the best course of action, and assist with the plan of action.

    • These challenges may include marital/family difficulties, depression and anxiety, legal/financial concerns, stress-related problems, or alcoholism/substance abuse.
    • Consultations with qualified counselors are completely confidential.
