Commonwealth Institute for Child and Family Studies (CICFS)
The Commonwealth Institute for Child and Family Studies (CICFS) is the research office located at the Virginia Treatment Center for Children, and is part of VCU's Department of Psychiatry, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. CICFS provides state-of-the art research and program evaluation designed to improve services to children with disabilities. The Institute also provides training, offers technical assistance, and disseminates research findings.
