| The Testing Control Room: |

|
All recording and monitoring equipment is enclosed in a copious, well-lighted control center that is separate from the testing bedrooms. This allows us to maintain quiet in the halls during sleep studies without worrying about waking another patient.
The control center is equipped with state-of-the-art sleep recording systems that save all patient data to computers for faster analysis and diagnosis.
With varied medical and teaching backgrounds, our technologists score very highly when our patients are asked about their experience at night. |
The Patient Sleep Suites:
|
|
Each of our six patient suites is furnished like a "real" bedroom, with soft lighting, carpet, and decorating touches that create a relaxed and comfortable environment.
Our Pediatric room features two twin beds for a parent to stay, whose presence provides children peace of mind during their stay.
To further add to the comfort of our patients, the VCU Center for Sleep Medicine is 100% smoke-free and completely handicap accessible.
